This block of instruction will introduce the student to terms and definitions that clarify the difference between manager and leader.  The course will prepare the student for being a situational leader able to employ appropriate styles of conflict resolution practices to maintain stability and balance in relationships.

Conflict Resolution and Crisis Management for Leaders Course 

Learning Objectives:

  • Learner will understand the inherent differences between manager who has positional authority to direct and order behavior and a leader who influences and inspires behavior.
  • Learner will understand the seven critical C’s of effective leadership.
  • Learner will understand five conflict resolution practices and take a self-assessment to identify their preferred method for resolving conflict.
